The Abdi family are rebuilding in Munich after leaving Syria; your gift pays for housing basics.

My family left Syria 5 months ago after the war reached our town. We spent time in a camp before we were resettled in Munich. We're a family of four and we're safe, but we arrived with very little.
Our resettlement agency has provided 4 months of rent, and that support ends in January.
I was a shopkeeper in Syria, and I'm studying the language every evening. Our daughter and son have started school and are doing well.
We want nothing more than to be self-sufficient. This fund will help us through the first six months.
All purchases will be documented and photos shared (with the family's consent).
Where the $3,300 goes:
• Language classes and bus passes: $580
• Rent deposit and first month: $1,100
• Beds, table and basic furniture: $1,050
• Winter clothing and school supplies: $570
Thanks for being kind about this.
- Maximilian

Is there any paperwork, like the resettlement agency letter, that backs this up?
I sent the resettlement agency letter in when I posted. I'll upload a redacted copy this week. I'll keep the page updated.
Hope it all works out, Maximilian. I hope things turn around soon. My neighbor in Gwangju donated after I showed her your page
Praying for you. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My colleague had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
Is there anything that isn't money that would help Maximilian?
Thank you. If you're in Munich I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Good question.
keep going, Maximilian. Your post was clear and honest. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of Munich!
Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Maximilian.
The list at the bottom is the whole picture. language classes and bus passes is the biggest at $580. It helps to be asked.
You're not alone. Shared this with my family. Take care
It takes guts to ask. Well done. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. All the best.
wishing you peace. Hope this works out for you. I'll check back for the next update. God bless!
So sorry you're going through this, Maximilian. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did.
