Weekly meals for families and seniors in Fresno
The the Thursday Table pantry in Fresno is running low just as demand rises; $2,650 will stock it for 11 weeks.

Since 2020, our volunteer team has run the Thursday Table every Wednesday from the back of the old library basement. We started with 8 families, and now we feed 295 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 45% this summer, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 19 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Fresno market and keep every receipt.
Each $40 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $2,650 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $1,150
• Baby formula and diapers: $350
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $1,150
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Praying for you, Yolanda. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Thinking of Fresno.
Take care, Yolanda. Hope you get there. Wish I lived closer to Mannheim so I could bring a meal. Greetings from Accra
Rooting for you, Yolanda. Looking forward to the next update. Greetings from Dwarka.
