Veteran in need: Dominik's next mission is stability
After twelve years of service, Dominik is raising funds for a vocational welding course and tools.

I served twelve years in the navy and was discharged in 2024 with post-traumatic stress. I have been waiting eleven months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a vocational welding course and tools. The quote I have comes to $2,900.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden.
Where the $2,900 goes:
• Training provider fees: $1,150
• Housing deposit and first month: $1,300
• Transport to appointments: $160
• Essential household items: $290
Thank you for reading my story.
