Veteran in need: Bolaji's next mission is stability

Bolaji served twelve years in the navy; $850 would cover a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment.

I served twelve years in the navy and was discharged in 2024 with hearing damage and PTSD. I have been waiting eleven months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place. I have a plan: a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment. The quote I have comes to $850. I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces. I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing. I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden. Where the $850 goes: • Training provider fees: $400 • Housing deposit and first month: $360 • Transport to appointments: $40 • Essential household items: $50 Thank you so much. - Bolaji
