I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a master's in public health at San Francisco Polytechnic, and I'm one term away from graduating. I have worked as a tutor to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $3,500.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a distinction average, and my faculty supervisor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the San Francisco Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $3,500 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $1,800
• Textbooks and materials: $250
• Final term tuition: $1,450
Glad we found this place.

Thinking of you, Usha. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Blessings.
Sending strength. Looking forward to the next update. I went through something like this 7 years ago and strangers helped me out. Blessings.
