Suthep is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a degree in social work at Chiang Mai Community College, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a tutor to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,050.
The registrar has said Suthep can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Suthep has a first-class average, and an academic advisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Suthep would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Suthep isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.

• Outstanding tuition balance: $480
• Exam and lab fees: $85
• Final term tuition: $485
