Tuition fund for Snehal: an agriculture degree at Mumbai University
A first-generation student, Snehal needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of an agriculture degree.
🇮🇳 Maharashtra, India1,049 views
Snehal is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying an agriculture degree at Mumbai University, and is two terms away from graduating. She has worked as a tutor to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $750.
The registrar has said Snehal can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Snehal has a 3.8 average, and a professor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Snehal would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Snehal isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Mumbai University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $750 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $160
• Final term tuition: $550
• Exam and lab fees: $20
• Textbooks and materials: $20
I hope life is good to you.

Good news. Because of your gifts ($25 in total) I made the first payment toward exam and lab fees. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

Praying for you, Aarti. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. I went through something like this 3 years ago and strangers helped me out. Thinking of Mumbai
wishing you peace. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Thinking of Mumbai.
Hope it all works out, Aarti. This could happen to any of us. It's not much but it's yours. Blessings.
