Sapna is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a master's in public health at the Pune Institute of Technology, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a warehouse packer to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $850. The registrar has said Sapna can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Sapna has a 3.8 average, and an academic advisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Sapna would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Sapna isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the the Pune Institute of Technology bursar's office.
