Santiago is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying an agriculture degree at Cali Community College, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,150. The registrar has said Santiago can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Santiago has a distinction average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Santiago would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Santiago isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Cali Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $1,150 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $370 • Final term tuition: $610 • Exam and lab fees: $75 • Textbooks and materials: $95 Every share and every dollar helps.
