Rylee is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying an agriculture degree at Newcastle Polytechnic, and is two terms away from graduating. She has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $5,350. The registrar has said Rylee can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Rylee has a 3.8 average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Rylee would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Rylee isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Newcastle Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
