A first-generation student, Pallavi needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a diploma in hospitality management.

Pallavi is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a diploma in hospitality management at the Kota Institute of Technology, and is two terms away from graduating. She has worked as a shop assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $450.
The registrar has said Pallavi can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Pallavi has a top-ten-percent average, and a department head has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Pallavi would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Pallavi isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $450 goes:
• Final term tuition: $350
• Exam and lab fees: $55
• Textbooks and materials: $45
