Nabirye is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a diploma in hospitality management at Fort Portal State College, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $500.
The registrar has said Nabirye can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Nabirye has a first-class average, and a professor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Nabirye would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Nabirye isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Fort Portal State College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.

• Outstanding tuition balance: $200
• Final term tuition: $250
• Exam and lab fees: $45
• Textbooks and materials: $5
