A first-generation student, Miles needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a diploma in hospitality management.

Miles is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a diploma in hospitality management at London Community College, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a shop assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $5,350.
The registrar has said Miles can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Miles has a 3.8 average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Miles would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Miles isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $5,350 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $2,000
• Final term tuition: $2,950
• Exam and lab fees: $200
• Textbooks and materials: $200
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
