Tuition fund for Mateo: a degree in social work at Austin Polytechnic

Mateo is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a degree in social work at Austin Polytechnic, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $4,400.
The registrar has said Mateo can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Mateo has a 3.9 average, and a department head has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Mateo would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Mateo isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.

• Textbooks and materials: $170
• Final term tuition: $3,870
