Tuition fund for Lúcia: a degree in civil engineering at São Paulo Community College

Lúcia is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a degree in civil engineering at São Paulo Community College, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,300. The registrar has said Lúcia can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Lúcia has a 3.9 average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Lúcia would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Lúcia isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the São Paulo Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
