Krishna is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying an agriculture degree at the Hubballi Institute of Technology, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $700. The registrar has said Krishna can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Krishna has a 3.8 average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Krishna would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Krishna isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the the Hubballi Institute of Technology bursar's office.
