Kemal is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying an accounting degree at Istanbul State College, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a warehouse packer to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $900. The registrar has said Kemal can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Kemal has a distinction average, and a professor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Kemal would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Kemal isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees. Where the $900 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $500 • Final term tuition: $300 • Exam and lab fees: $45 • Textbooks and materials: $55 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot. - Can

Keep going, Can. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.

It's all in the list in the story. outstanding tuition balance is the big one at $500, I'll post a receipt when it's paid. Thanks for asking.
