A first-generation student, Katherine needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of an agriculture degree.

Katherine is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying an agriculture degree at the Swansea Institute of Technology, and is two terms away from graduating. She has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $3,650.
The registrar has said Katherine can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Katherine has a top-ten-percent average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Katherine would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Katherine isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the the Swansea Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $3,650 goes:
• Textbooks and materials: $340
• Outstanding tuition balance: $1,000
• Final term tuition: $2,310
Thanks for being kind about this.
