He has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $950. The registrar has said Joaquín can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Joaquín has a first-class average, and a department head has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Joaquín would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Joaquín isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Tlaquepaque University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
