Jéssica is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a degree in civil engineering at Uberlândia University, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a warehouse packer to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $700. The registrar has said Jéssica can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Jéssica has a top-ten-percent average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Jéssica would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Jéssica isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Uberlândia University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $700 goes: • Textbooks and materials: $95 • Final term tuition: $500 • Exam and lab fees: $105 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot. - Márcio
