Ecrin is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a master's in public health at Istanbul State College, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,400.
The registrar has said Ecrin can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Ecrin has a 3.9 average, and an academic advisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Ecrin would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Ecrin isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.

• Exam and lab fees: $80
• Textbooks and materials: $50
