Tuition fund for Crystal: a nursing degree at Mississauga Polytechnic
Crystal has worked and saved for four years to study a nursing degree; a $5,400 gap now stands between her and graduation.

Crystal is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a nursing degree at Mississauga Polytechnic, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a warehouse packer to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $5,400.
The registrar has said Crystal can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Crystal has a 3.9 average, and an academic advisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Crystal would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Crystal isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.

• Outstanding tuition balance: $2,300
• Textbooks and materials: $350
