Tuition fund for Charlene: a law degree at Johannesburg Community College
A first-generation student, Charlene needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a law degree.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a law degree at Johannesburg Community College, and I'm two terms away from graduating. I have worked as a delivery rider to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $850.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a 3.8 average, and my department head has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Johannesburg Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $850 goes:
• Final term tuition: $700
• Exam and lab fees: $80
• Textbooks and materials: $70
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
