Agnieszka is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a nursing degree at the Gliwice Institute of Technology, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a tutor to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,850.
The registrar has said Agnieszka can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Agnieszka has a 3.9 average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Agnieszka would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Agnieszka isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
