A first-generation student, Tomás needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of an accounting degree.

Tomás is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying an accounting degree at La Plata Community College, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a shop assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,500.
The registrar has said Tomás can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Tomás has a distinction average, and an academic advisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Tomás would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Tomás isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the La Plata Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $1,500 goes:
• Final term tuition: $840
• Outstanding tuition balance: $610
• Exam and lab fees: $50
Thank you so much.
