After the death of both parents, Maverick has struggled with anxiety, sleep and panic attacks. The doctor has referred him to weekly cognitive behavioral therapy, but the public waiting list is 8 months, and private sessions at a private practice in Albany cost $110 each. Maverick has been honest with his employer and taken some time off, but can't keep going without support. Therapy has already helped a little in the sessions Maverick could afford. The therapist recommends 20 weekly sessions, and consistent help will make the difference.
