My family left Syria 7 months ago after the war reached our town. We spent time in a camp before we were resettled in Üsküdar. We're a family of five and we're safe, but we arrived with very little.
Our resettlement agency has provided 2 months of rent, and that support ends in December.
I was a shopkeeper in Syria, and I'm studying the language every evening. Our daughter and son have started school and are doing well.
We want nothing more than to be self-sufficient. This fund will help us through the first six months.
All purchases will be documented and photos shared (with the family's consent).
Where the $550 goes:
• Phone and internet for school and job search: $60
• Rent deposit and first month: $360
• Winter clothing and school supplies: $130
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Best of luck. Looking forward to the next update. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Love from Agra.
hope things get better soon, Duygu. Shared this with my family. Sent it to 28 people at work. Blessings
Wishing you peace, Duygu. I hope things turn around soon. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Take care.
So sorry you're going through this, Duygu. This could happen to any of us. Love from Cologne
