The old Pioneer bus depot needs a youth football pitch - Ramón's neighborhood project
A community-led a youth football pitch at the old Pioneer bus depot that will serve 490 neighbors.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 14 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Pioneer bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $900.
It will serve about 490 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in February and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $900 goes:
• Materials: $750
• Tools hire and delivery: $95
• Safety equipment and signage: $55
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
