The old Baobab bus depot needs a community fridge - Natalia's neighborhood project
Volunteers in Edinburgh are raising $3,100 for a community fridge at the old Baobab bus depot.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 23 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Baobab bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $3,100.
It will serve about 260 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.

• Tools hire and delivery: $380
