The old Acacia bus depot needs a rainwater harvesting system - Hetal's neighborhood project

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 28 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Acacia bus depot, but no funding. We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $500. It will serve about 453 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in July and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $500 goes: • Materials: $340 • Permits and inspections: $35 • Safety equipment and signage: $40 • Tools hire and delivery: $85 If you're reading this, thank you. - Hetal
