The old Acacia bus depot needs a covered market stall space - Dante's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a covered market stall space - we need $300 for materials.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 22 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Acacia bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $300.
It will serve about 410 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $300 goes:
• Materials: $180
• Permits and inspections: $65
• Safety equipment and signage: $20
• Tools hire and delivery: $35
Thanks for being kind about this.

More neighborhoods should do this. My neighbor in San Diego donated after I showed her your page
Shared it with a few friends. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Thinking of Manila.
