Boulogne-Billancourt
My family left Venezuela 8 months ago after we could no longer live safely. We spent time in a camp before we were resettled in Boulogne-Billancourt. We're a family of seven and we're safe, but we arrived with very little. Our resettlement agency has provided 4 months of rent, and that support ends in September. I was a mechanic in Venezuela, and I'm studying the language every evening. Our daughter and son have started school and are doing well. We want nothing more than to be self-sufficient. This fund will help us through the first six months. All purchases will be documented and photos shared (with the family's consent). Where the $3,600 goes: • Rent deposit and first month: $2,300 • Language classes and bus passes: $190 • Winter clothing and school supplies: $560 • Beds, table and basic furniture: $550 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support. - Océane
