The Freedom health centre yard needs a youth football pitch - Matilde's neighborhood project
A community-led a youth football pitch at the Freedom health centre yard that will serve 449 neighbors.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 28 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Freedom health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $1,200.
It will serve about 449 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
