The Cedar vacant lot needs a repair café workshop - Laiba's neighborhood project
Volunteers in Abbottabad are raising $250 for a repair café workshop at the Cedar vacant lot.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 24 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Cedar vacant lot, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $250.
It will serve about 455 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $250 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $40
• Safety equipment and signage: $15
• Materials: $195
