The Acacia health centre yard needs a skate park - Konstantin's neighborhood project
A community-led a skate park at the Acacia health centre yard that will serve 425 neighbors.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 8 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Acacia health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $350, and the remaining cost is $300.
It will serve about 425 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $300 goes:
• Permits and inspections: $110
• Tools hire and delivery: $110
• Safety equipment and signage: $80
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.
