A pair of hearing aids would give Tatiane independence - we're $650 away.

I live with profound hearing loss. My occupational therapist at the Petrópolis Mobility Clinic has assessed me and recommended a pair of hearing aids. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $650.
My current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 6 weeks.
With the right equipment I could go to school independently. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $650 goes:
• Fitting and training sessions: $90
• pair of hearing aids: $540
• Delivery and set-up: $20
