Tariq needs my tuk-tuk repaired to get back to work in Riyadh
Tariq drives for a living in Riyadh, and a broken gearbox has stopped all income for 8 weeks.
🇸🇦 Saudi Arabia967 views
I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 8 weeks ago the gearbox failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $950. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $950 goes:
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $130
• Labor charges: $190
• gearbox replacement (parts): $630
Glad we found this place.
