Suren's final semester of a nursing degree in Ekurhuleni
Suren is one term away from finishing a nursing degree but is blocked from enrolling by an unpaid balance of $1,350.

Suren is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a nursing degree at Ekurhuleni State College, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,350.
The registrar has said Suren can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Suren has a first-class average, and a professor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Suren would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Suren isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Ekurhuleni State College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.

• Outstanding tuition balance: $620
• Final term tuition: $655
