Storm in Seoul: help the families of Harbor Lane rebuild
The storm damaged 56 homes in the families of Harbor Lane. We're raising funds for repairs, supplies and temporary shelter.

The storm hit the families of Harbor Lane on 14 August. My home was one of 56 damaged, and 3 families are still in temporary shelter at the community hall.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
Funds go to building materials, water purification supplies, bedding, and food for families still in shelters.
Where the $5,250 goes:
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $770
• Roofing sheets and timber: $3,100
• Food parcels for displaced families: $590
• Tools and labor for repairs: $790
With deep gratitude,
Ji-min

I hope things turn around soon. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Take care!
stay strong. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Thinking of Seoul.
Best of luck, Ji-min. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. God bless.
Thinking of you and your family, Ji-min. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Please keep us posted. Love from Medan.
Wishing you the best. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. Put this on a community board in Liverpool this morning. Blessings.
shared it with a few friends. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Greetings from Cincinnati.
