Storm in Beersheba: help the Harbor neighborhood rebuild
Neighbors in the Harbor neighborhood are rebuilding after the storm; every contribution goes to materials and supplies.
🇮🇱 Beersheba, Southern, Israel1,213 views
The storm hit the Harbor neighborhood on 14 June. My home was one of 75 damaged, and 5 families are still in temporary shelter at the community hall.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
We buy supplies locally and in bulk, so the money goes further. Receipts and photos will be posted in updates.
Where the $4,400 goes:
• Food parcels for displaced families: $560
• Tools and labor for repairs: $1,450
• Roofing sheets and timber: $1,900
• Clean water and purification supplies: $490
Glad we found this place.

You're not alone. More neighborhoods should do this. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
great idea, hope you get there. I have a 15 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Blessings.
