Stop the eviction: 5 months of rent for Raphaël's family in Nîmes
After a long illness, Raphaël is 5 months behind on rent and has a termination letter from the landlord.

Following a long illness in the family, I fell 5 months behind on rent. Last Saturday a termination letter was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $1,050.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by October, we must leave.
I have a toddler and a baby at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working evenings as a cleaner, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $1,050 goes:
• Late fees and court costs: $230
• First month of rent as a buffer: $700
• Utilities in arrears: $120

Hope it all works out, Raphaël. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Wish I lived closer to Mendoza so I could bring a meal.
Hope it all works out. I hope things turn around soon. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. God bless.

Hang in there, Raphaël. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. Take care.
Keep going, Raphaël. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Thinking of Nîmes
