Stop the eviction: 5 months of rent for Aishwarya's family in Salem
A notice to vacate arrived last week. Aishwarya needs $450 to clear the arrears and stay housed in Salem.

After a car accident that kept me from work for 10 weeks, I fell 5 months behind on rent. Last Friday a notice to vacate was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $450.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by October, we must leave.
I've 1 children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working weekend shifts, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $450 goes:
• Utilities in arrears: $20
• Rent arrears (5 months): $320
• First month of rent as a buffer: $110
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
