Stop the eviction: 4 months of rent for Rukhsar's family in Mardan
A sudden layoff left Rukhsar short on rent for 4 months; help us stay in our home.

When my hours were cut in half in July, Rukhsar fell 4 months behind on rent. Last Sunday a notice to vacate was taped to the door, and the amount owed is $350.
The landlord was understanding for a while, but has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by November, the family must leave.
There are three school-aged children at home. Moving would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
Rukhsar has started working weekend shifts, and is applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.

• Utilities in arrears: $50
