Stop the eviction: 4 months of rent for Leonardo's family in Coyoacán
A notice to vacate arrived last week. Leonardo needs $450 to clear the arrears and stay housed in Coyoacán.

When the construction firm closed in July, I fell 4 months behind on rent. Last Thursday a notice to vacate was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $450.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by November, we must leave.
I've 4 children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working two part-time jobs, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $450 goes:
• Late fees and court costs: $45
• First month of rent as a buffer: $320
• Utilities in arrears: $85
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Thinking of you, Leonardo. This could happen to any of us. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. All the best!
