After a car accident that kept me from work for 7 weeks, I fell 4 months behind on rent. Last Saturday a final eviction notice was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $2,550.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by May, we must leave.
