After a sudden layoff at the warehouse, I fell 3 months behind on rent. Last Saturday a notice to vacate was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $350.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by June, we must leave.
I have two young children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working evenings as a cleaner, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $350 goes:
• Rent arrears (3 months): $250
• Utilities in arrears: $50
• Late fees and court costs: $50
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. I'm in construction myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Greetings from Ubud.
Thinking of you, Ngọc. I hope things turn around soon. We're a small family in Depok but we're thinking of you. God bless.
hope it all works out, Ngọc. Hope you get there. All the best.
