Stop the eviction: 3 months of rent for Marina's family in Moscow
A notice to vacate arrived last week. Marina needs $1,200 to clear the arrears and stay housed in Moscow.

When the hotel closed in September, I fell 3 months behind on rent. Last Wednesday a notice to vacate was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $1,200.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by November, we must leave.
I've 3 children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working two part-time jobs, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $1,200 goes:
• First month of rent as a buffer: $165
• Rent arrears (3 months): $1,000
• Late fees and court costs: $35
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Best of luck, Marina. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes.
Looking forward to the next update. I have a 17 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Love from Setagaya.
You're not alone, Marina. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Greetings from Anaheim
