Stop the eviction: 3 months of rent for Inés's family in Tlaquepaque
After a car accident, Inés is 3 months behind on rent and has a notice to vacate from the landlord.

After a car accident that kept me from work for 12 weeks, I fell 3 months behind on rent. Last Wednesday a notice to vacate was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $1,450.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by October, we must leave.
I have a teenager still in school at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working weekend shifts, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $1,450 goes:
• Rent arrears (3 months): $950
• Late fees and court costs: $55
• Utilities in arrears: $90
• First month of rent as a buffer: $355

Hang in there, Inés. I hope things turn around soon. After 28 years in nursing I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Love from Bergamo
You're not alone. Shared this with my family. Thinking of Tlaquepaque
Sending strength. I hope things turn around soon. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. All the best
Sending strength. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I hope October is when things finally get easier. Greetings from Augusta.
