Stop the eviction: 3 months of rent for Adrian's family in Cincinnati
After the closure of the factory, Adrian is 3 months behind on rent and has a termination letter from the landlord.

After a car accident that kept me from work for 6 weeks, I fell 3 months behind on rent. Last Monday a termination letter was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $5,000.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by August, we must leave.
I have a toddler and a baby at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working night deliveries, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $5,000 goes:
• Rent arrears (3 months): $3,300
• Late fees and court costs: $420
• Utilities in arrears: $360
• First month of rent as a buffer: $920
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Thank you all. We're at 2% now ($123). I'm honestly stunned. I made the first payment toward utilities in arrears.

Hope things get better soon. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Love from Mobile.
