Stop the eviction: 2 months of rent for Rima's family in Riyadh
The closure of the factory left Rima short on rent for 2 months; help us stay in our home.

After a sudden layoff at the restaurant, I fell 2 months behind on rent. Last Thursday a 10-day notice to quit was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $2,450.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by November, we must leave.
I have a teenager still in school at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working weekend shifts, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $2,450 goes:
• First month of rent as a buffer: $660
• Rent arrears (2 months): $1,600
• Late fees and court costs: $190
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Praying for you, Rima. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
hang in there, Rima. Shared it with a few friends. Greetings from London.
